LWC Villars 2019

After BWC in Munich I decided to skip the last bouldering competition of the season in Vail. It was solely just for one purpose, to focus entirely on lead climbing.

This time this is not the usual introduction where I tell something about the competition. In the future my blog posts will be shorter and I will focus only on the important details. Hopefully that will make it easier and more interesting to read.

After finishing with competition in Chongqing there wasn’t long till I had the chance to show my best one more time here in China. In between both competitions there is a week. Just enough time to recover from previous competition and to do two easier sessions on the wall.

It’s that time of the year again. Time to fly to China for two weeks and compete in two bouldering world cups. Traditionally the first one takes place in Chongqing.

BWC Meiringen 2019

That’s it, the season has officially begun. Like for the last 3 years the first stage of the world cup took place in beautiful Swiss town called Meiringen.

STUDIO BLOC MASTERS 2019

Preparations done, selections finished, flight tickets booked, … Everything is ready for the start of new season. But before we kick off the season there is the annual Studio block masters competition in Pfungstadt, Germany. Every year climbers from all over the world travel to Germany to take part in this competition. It’s fair to say it has became some sort of pre-world cup tradition.
